Hanse Sail at the Baltic Sea

Hanse-Sail – Meeting for sailors from all over the world from 8 to 11 August 2024.

The Hanse Sail fascinates about one million visitors every year. Sailors from all over the world meet at this impressive parade of ships and stroll along the quaysides and in front of the pier in Warnemünde.

There are large windjammers and cruise ships to admire. Two-, three- and four-masters show their magnificent sails. Exciting regattas are held, where schooners and square-sailed ships fight for the first places. Cogs, steam ice breakers and paddle steamers brighten up the colourful scenery. On many ships it is possible to go on board and experience the spectacle live from the water. If you like, you can try out the feeling of a trip on a sailing yacht. Passenger ships accompany the parade and make it possible to get quite close to the historic boats.
